Need you guys' help =D

Right, so this has been bothering me for the past month

I have to come up with, for art A Level, a subject to base my entire project on.

So far I've thought of these:
Portraiture
Expressionism
Discomfort in portrait
Digital Art

But they're such huuuuge categories to base a project on (I won't be able to cover everything.) ..except the discomfort in portrait, which actually I worry there isnt enough about it.

I need your help so I can pick something much smaller, and something that relates to my own work.

I really have an interest in portraits- the human figure is deffinately something I would like to base my work around.
But I hate abstract (bright colours, shapes etc) and don't want anything like that.

Any ideas?



p.s:: As much as I would luuurve to do a topic on digital art, I'm worried it's a bit too.... modern to base a 6th month project on. But I dunno.. any ideas how I could work around that? :/
